On April 15, 2010, the Internal Medicine’s Biggest Loser has started off with 9 contestants committing to lose the most weight in the game.   Now on its second week, we look at the interesting profiles.

Contestant A - has gained some weight from the first weigh in.  Hmn… looks like we have a complacent contestant here, having gotten the second place in the first week.  Expect this contestant to have a significant run in the 3rd week having been reminded of how tough the competition is.

Contestant F has been most improved from being a last placer in the first week, he jumps to four times more than his weight loss on the first week to land a good fourth in the game.  Let’s see if this is enough encouragement for him to have a little bit more consistency in the game.

Contestant C and G look consistent.  I would surmise the strategies of these folks are real lifestyle changes.  I predict these are the real contenders in this game. The same consistency goes in for Contestant E… but he apparently lacks the intensity to make it in the game.  Let’s see if he can speed up his losses and catch up.

Contestants B, D, and H are plateauing. Expect one or two of them to have marginal weight loss in the coming week or even a weight gain.  They might be examples of crash dieters without corresponding psychological preparedness to push on with their crash diets.

From this trend, looks like C, F, G and I are the ones who have a lot to lose… but wait… maybe not C. Mwahahaha.

We invite you all to support the I.M.’s Biggest Loser by voting for the contestants for the benefit of Sagip Buhay Medical Foundation.
